oh no, i've seen a druid-based dragon with terrible ac. first to die in palisades always, even if he wasn't tanking everything. i took less dmg with my dmger who had 60-some odd ac.

lol it definitely wasn't a scroll. his rak shape died just as badly and did just as poorly. i think it was just a bad build... i never did log out and take a look at his class distribution.

Sorry should of explained that better, those stats were taken from exporting a .bic file with nwntool I happened to have on my laptop whilst in work so they are unshifted stats. just tried it now and...

Actually a shield only negates your monk ac when unshifted. When shifted it adds its bonus to your ac (though not its base ac) as well as any other attributes it might have on it.X
